When I finish setting up the MaxQDA version and download to my computer, it does not allow the original serial number to work. I have followed the steps, but at the end the serial number does not work.

If you install MAXQDA 24 you need a license for MAXQDA 24. The serial number contains a 24 or 00. You can't use a MAXQDA 2022 serial number for MAXQDA 24.
Students and customers of a subscription are eligible for a free upgrade.
