Hi,
is it possible to code the text of a read-only/ write-protected pdf? If so, how?

Yes, it is possible to code text from a read-only or write-protected PDF in MAXQDA. You can import the PDF into MAXQDA and use the mouse to select and code the text, similar to how you would in a text document. If the PDF is scanned and lacks a readable text layer, you may need to use OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to extract the text before coding.
