Why does Maxqda not allow me to RDP to my machine and access my Maxqda instance?
Maxqda is installed on my PC. When on the move I need to access this with my laptop via RDP.
Am I doing something wrong here?
If not please advise why it is not possible to do this.
Thank you

Let's make this really simple:
" . . . access via remote desktop is not possible"
I use RDP to access Microsoft Office. I use RDP to access Adobe software. I use RDP to access Filezilla. I use RDP to access Sketchup. I think you get the point.
So, to quote you " . . . is not possible" The question remains unanswered. Is your software in someway unable to manage RDP where others do?

Hi.
MAXQDA requires a local installation and is designed to run directly on the computer where it is installed. Using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) to access MAXQDA on another machine is generally not supported because MAXQDA licenses are tied to the local device and may not function properly over RDP.
For uninterrupted use on multiple devices, MAXQDA recommends installing the software directly on each device with proper license activation.
Best regards,
Khaled

Hi Thanks for the reply.
Please focus on the specifics of the question.
It is not installed on a "terminal server" or "virtual machine". It is installed on a PC in my home.
So, my question is: Why can't I use RDP to connect to this PC to use my licensed copy of MaxQDA?
This is a perfectly routine and normal activity for users.
