• you have installed MAXQDA 24
• your license is eligible for AI Assist (AI Assist is available for MAXQDA subscription users and student licenses)
• you have a free MAXQDA Account

Activation of AI Assist

Do you want to buy MAXQDA?

You may add AI Assist during purchase or upgrade to a MAXQDA 24 license

Do you already have a MAXQDA 24 license?

How you activate AI Assist depends on the way you bought MAXQDA:

Have you bought a subscription through our online shop? 

• you may use the Subscription Manager, here you find the steps to activate AI Assist
• on the AI activation website

Have you bought a student license?

• using the Ai activation page for students

Have you bought a license through VERBI Sales?

• please contact sales@maxqda.com

Are you using a network-, free-floating- or campus license? 

• Please contact your it department or the responsible person for the license.

Have you bought your license with a reseller? 

• Please contact your reseller to activate AI Assist free or buy AI Assist Premium
• or activate AI Assist Free through the activation page

If the license for AI Assist is activated, the information must still be transferred to your program: 

• Single-user license / student license: Restart MAXQDA. 
• Network license: Perform an online check in the Netlic Manager. 

For active licenses, the price for adding AI Assist Premium is calculated on a daily basis. This way, you only pay for AI Assist Premium for the remaining duration of your license.
