AI Assist is an add-on from MAXQDA that must be explicitly activated. If it is not enabled, the AI Assist functions will not be displayed.
1. AI must be activated in the license
You can find out if AI Assist is activated in your MAXQDA by checking the license status.
2. Usage is not possible in some countries
If the device where MAXQDA is installed is located in China or if the country setting is set to China, AI Assist will not be displayed or available for use.
3. The network license has not yet retrieved the change to the license.
If AI Assist has been activated for the network license but the user does not see any AI functions in their application, it is likely because the license has not yet retrieved the activation of AI Assist.
Please check whether the AI Assist cloud module is listed in the Netlic Manager. If not, please click on Online check.
4. Your MAXQDA version does not support the latest AI Assist
Please make sure that you always use the latest version of MAXQDA. If you have just activated AI Assist for AI Assist, you need at least 24.5 Open the Check-for-updates function in MAXQDA via the question mark at the bottom left.
