That depends on which MAXQDA license you purchased.
Single-user licenses can be installed on two machines. Both installations may not be used simultaneously or by different individuals.
Student licenses (12 months) can be installed on two machines. Both installations may not be used simultaneously or by different individuals.
Semester licenses (6 months) can be installed on one machine.
Network licenses can be installed on up to twice as many computers as licenses purchased, but can only be used simultaneously by one machine per license (installation is only possible in a client-server environment).
