To open files from MAXQDA 5 (.mx5) oder MAXQDA 11 (.mx11) with MAXQDA 24 or MAXQDA 26, please
- Download the free MAXQDA 2020 Reader
- Open your MAXQDA 5 or 11 file with the free MAXQDA 2020 Reader
- The MAXQDA 2020 Reader now creates a copy of your file in the .mx20 format
- This .mx20 file can be opened with MAXQDA 24 and higher
Note: Please note that .mx5 files can only be opened with Windows and .mx11 files can only be opened with macOS.
