Can I use MAXQDA Transcription without MAXQDA?

Yes, you can also use MAXQDA Transcription as a stand-alone product without booking MAXQDA or AI Assist. 

In this case, you can have your media file automatically transcribed online in your MAXQDA account via the web interface. 

• Create a MAXQDA Account: https://teamcloud.maxqda.com/register/
• Open the page https://teamcloud.maxqda.com/transcriptions_online/
• You can redeem your transcription budget here using a code. 
• Upload your media file. 
• You will then receive a Word file containing the transcribed interview. 
• You can now download this and edit it in MAXQDA, another software program or directly in MS Word. 

With online transcription, you can also use MAXQDA Transcription with a campus license or an older version such as MAXQDA 2022. 

When you create a MAXQDA account, you receive a one-time transcription budget of 60 minutes.
