If you use MAXQDA 24, you do not need a new serial number for MAXQDA 27. Since MAXQDA 24, MAXQDA has been working with a version-independent number that is valid for versions from 24 onwards. When you upgrade your MAXQDA 24 license to the latest version of MAXQDA, your valid serial number will be recognized immediately, and you will not need to do anything else.
