Who may upgrade to MAXQDA 27?

Users currently using MAXQDA 26 can update by clicking the “?” button (lower-left corner of the main interface) > Check for Updates.

All users of a MAXQDA 24 license are entitled to use MAXQDA 26 or higher. When you are still using MAXQDA 24 you can install MAXQDA 27 directly on your computer.

The following licenses are eligible for the free upgrade:

• Student licenses
• Single-User, Network-, Free-Floating and Campuse licenses (1-, 3-, and 5-year licenses)
• Course licenses
• Workshop licenses 
• Trial versions
• etc.

Serial numbers with the digits 00 and 24, e.g., MQSI00-xxxx, can also be used to activate MAXQDA 26 or higher.

If you have already activated MAXQDA 24, once you download the latest version, it is automatically activated.
