Does MAXQDA work with any language?

Modified on Fri, 26 Apr at 1:44 PM

Unicode software for analyzing any text characters and languages

MAXQDA supports Unicode. This means that regardless of the language version of the program interface, texts in any character sets can be imported and edited. This makes it possible not only to edit documents in Japanese, Cyrillic, or Arabic but also to work with codes, memos, variables, and text searches in these languages.

With Unicode, different character sets can be used in the same text, meaning a text can contain passages in English, Russian, and Chinese.

User interface in more than ten languages

MAXQDA is used worldwide, so the MAXQDA user interface has already been translated into many languages. You can choose from more than ten different languages: German, English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Italian, Chinese (traditional and simplified), Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Polish, and Czech.
