A MAXQDA serial number is a unique code that is used to identify your license.
Where do I find my serial number?
You will receive the serial number in your invoice or delivery email sent by our e-sell partner Cleverbridge GmbH. Please look for an e-mail from no-reply@cleverbridge.com
What information contains my license?
The serial number contains information about the MAXQDA version, duration of validity, type of license and type of product.
To activate a serial number, a connection to the Internet must be available so that our license server can check the validity.
Versions
The version of MAXQDA is noted in the number:

MAXQDA can only be activated with the corresponding serial number of the license.

You can find your serial number in MAXQDA on the start page by clicking on the blue (i) or in the MAXQDA 24 project at the bottom left on the question mark and then on License status.
