When I try to enter my serial number, the field for activating MAXQDA is grayed out.
If the field for activating MAXQDA with a serial number is grayed out, this indicates that MAXQDA was installed on a virtual machine rather than on a physical device. MAXQDA single-user licenses can only be activated locally on a physical device.
If you want to run MAXQDA on a virtual machine, we recommend a server license, such as a network license or a free-floating license.
