Automatic Renewal

Your subscription is automatically renewed by default. After payment, your serial number will receive a new expiration date, which is extended by one year.

Single-user license

The license extension becomes active when you restart MAXQDA.

Network license

With a network license, the new validity period of the license only becomes active with an online check at the Netlic Manager.

Manual renewal

If you have already canceled your subscription or have set your subscription to manual renewal, you can renew your subscription as follows:

• Open your subscription in the subscription manager and set the renewal type to Automatic.

• If your subscription has already expired, you can reactivate it up to 3 months after it expires.
• To do this, click on the "Renew now" button

Student licenses 

Student licenses are no subscriptions, but time-limited licenses that end automatically. If you wish to continue using MAXQDA student license, simply apply for a new student license.
