What does error 6x3020 mean?
Error 6x3020 in MAXQDA indicates that your license has reached the end of its term and has therefore expired. In order to continue working with MAXQDA, you must either purchase a new license or extend your subscription.
What do I need to consider when purchasing a license?
If you have purchased single-user licenses or network licenses as a 3- or 5-year license or are the owner of a student license, these licenses cannot be extended. To continue working with MAXQDA, please purchase a new license in our online store.
What do I need to consider for an annual subscription?
Single-user licenses and network licenses purchased as an annual subscription are automatically renewed for a further 12 months unless the subscription has been canceled. If you still receive error 6x3020, please check the following:
1. Is automatic renewal activated?
Log in to our subscription manager and check whether automatic renewal is activated for your subscription. If not, activate this option.
2. has the order been paid for?
Make sure that the payment for the current subscription cycle has been made. Once payment has been made, update the license status in MAXQDA if you are using a single user license or in MAXQDA Netlic on your MAXQDA license server if you are using a network license.
